Flórida divulga lista de estabelecimentos investigados por exigir vacinação

O Florida Department of Health divulgou uma lista com 111 instituições públicas e privadas que estão sendo investigadas por exigirem que funcionários e clientes apresentem comprovantes de vacinação contra a covid-19.

A punição pode acarretar multa no valor de $5 mil e está prevista nas leis SB 2006 e  SB72 promulgadas pelo governador Ron DeSantis em setembro deste ano. O objetivo é proibir o chamado passaporte da vacina no estado.

Nos casos de entidades administradas pelas prefeituras da Flórida que suspenderam ou demitiram funcionários que se recusam a tomar o imunizante, a multa de cinco mil será por trabalhador, individualmente, podendo custar milhões de dólares aos governos locais.

A administração estadual criou o endereço de  e-mail VaxPassFreeFL@FLHealth.gov para coletar denúncias de moradores e fiscais sobre os locais que exigem o passaporte. Os gestores e proprietários dos estabelecimentos ainda podem recorrer à medida.
